Operation Showers of Appreciation is a wonderful event that is for Military, spouse and national guard families of all branches expecting moms. This is a giant baby shower for all the mom's that are expecting! The are guessing that they will have 100 moms there. Jody (the local baby shower coordinator) is an amazing person that is putting this on for the new or soon to be mom's. Many military are away from there families and may not get a baby shower, this is an event to show them that they are appreciated.
Today I had the honor of helping the event by making diaper cakes. It was a lot of fun! Total I think we had 20 diaper cakes made. My group of 7 made 2 diaper cakes. They turned out so cute. I loved how many people that came to help! I can't wait to help next time. : )
